Tech-Long USA has announced a $5m expansion in Gwinnett County, Metro Atlanta, Georgia, creating 130 jobs over 10 years.

The company makes packaging systems for the bottling and packaging industries in China, and has customers in 110 different countries including Nestlé, Pepsi-Cola, Coca Cola, Danone and San Miguel.

Tech-Long’s 25,000 square foot facility in the City of Duluth will be the firm’s Center of Parts & Service Excellence for the Americas and house its manufacturing operations as the company expands into the liquid packaging markets in Canada, the US, Caribbean, Mexico and South America.

The expansion includes manufacturing components and replacement parts for its machinery and possibly manufacturing consumable beverage products.
